NAAFI Canteen: "Nostalgiac Spot" Top 5 Page for this destination Malta Restaurant Tip by steventilly
Malta Restaurants: 287 reviews and 300 photos
NAAFI stands for "Navy Army Air Force Institute" and is the official trading organisation of the British Armed Forces. They run canteens and shops almost anywhere that Bristish troops are serving - the idea is to provide things that you would get at home, as well as a canteen service.
This place in Valletta is not an official NAAFI canteen, but is a relic of the British Forces based here during the war. Food is basic and cheap and it's more about the "experience" ;-)
