"Accommodation in Lancelin" Lancelin Lodge YHA Tip by pinkbear

The Lancelin Backpackers was my introduction to hostel accommodation - and they warned me not to expect all hostels to be the same. I still don't have any hostels to compare it to but to be honest, I enjoyed my stay there more than I have in most hotels. It seemed like a resort with a great pool and outdoor area, and it is run by a really friendly and helpful couple, just the right combination of giving you space but still making it seem really homely. You can come and go as you please throughout the day, and join in for group barbeques and drinks at night.

Unique Qualities: The Lancelin Backpackers is a short walk from the main street, which accommodates a number of shops. It has a nice outlook from the balcony, and as I've already mentioned a beautiful pool and outdoor area.

That said, I think it was the atmosphere that I enjoyed the most - really relaxing and friendly.
