"Trafalgar Square" Trafalgar Square Tip by paradisedreamer

Trafalgar Square, London: 248 reviews and 447 photos

Trafalgar square is an excellent meeting point for weary tourists. The square
commemorates the victory of Nelson near Trafalgar. There are many
consulates in the area and the square has been popular as a place for demonstrations. Nelson's column is in the centre of the square surrounded by 4 lions and fountains. Other buildings close by are the National gallery, Canada House, South Africa House and St Martin in the Fields Church. There are often free classical music recitals in the church so you can just pop in for a break
from the busy streets.
