"Could be the oldest geyser in the park" Geysers/hot springs Tip by annk

  Castle geyser at dusk
by annk

Sediment build-up as evidenced by this geyser indicates a very old geyser. The Castle Geyser erupts from a 12 ft. cone every 9 hours to a height of 60-90 ft. Old Faithful on the otherhand is considered to be a relatively young geyser.
Location: Upper Geyser Basin, Old Faithful area. Can be reached by boardwalks and bike paths.
