There are loads of things to see in Rome :

The Vatican City - this is actually a seperate province and so comes under a different country on my VT page so go there to find out more.

The Piazza's - Rome has many piazza's(squares) but one of the most famous(and touristy) is Piazza Novona. Here you'll find lots of tourists, performers, and of course a few fountains.

Trevi Fountains - One of Romes most famous sights, always packed with tourists. Try to visit day and night when they are lit up. Remember to through some money in to see whether you'll return to Rome!

The Pantheon - stuck in the middle of the city, this building of typical Roman architecture is free to enter. The inside ceiling is spectacular.

The Spanish steps - Nothing special, another tourist attraction...lots of pretty steps!

The Coloseum - Romes most impressive sight by far. 2000 years old and still standing. It costs 8 euros to get in and prepare for a queue! Worth it though!

Ancient Rome, The Roman Forum - next to the coloseum, the ancient ruins are still standing , although very very crumbled. You can see Julius Ceasers birthplace and many arc's and other old buildings. Very impressive.

Palantine hill, I never went but is supposed to be great.

The Catacoombs, again, i never went but supoosed to be good!
