"The Greenbelt" Austin Sports & Outdoors Tip by Jmill42

Austin Sports & Outdoors: 21 reviews and 25 photos

If you are into mountain biking, a great trail for you ride is the Greenbelt. It has some pretty technical parts, but it can be ridden by anyone. There are many entrance points to the trail. The one I used is at the Barton Spring entrance, pictured here. The greenbelt is 7.9 miles long with 809 acres total. The trails have a 10:00 PM until 5:00 AM curfew. Only bicycles, no motorized vehicles, may be ridden on the trails.

Equipment: Bike, helmet, and PLENTY of water! It is REALLY hot out here, and no water faucets around.

Address: 2101 Barton Springs Road
Theme: Biking

Review Helpfulness: 3.5 out of 5 stars
