Not a very good picture as it was taken at night.

The bridge has connected the Mala Strana (Little Quarter) to the Stare Mesto (Old Town) since the 14th century, and it was the only crossing over the river Vltava until the 18th century. Thousands of people cross it daily. According to legend the builders mixed eggs with the mortar to strengthen it.
There are about thirty statues on this bridge.
There are usually musicians playing on it which draws quite a crowd.
