  Zugspitze off in the distance

Favorite thing: Germany probably is the only country in the world where there are no speed limits on the highways. It is interesting to note that Hitler ordered the creation of the first "autobahns". They were made with concrete and that they therefore still last.

Fondest memory: On our way from Munich to Linderhof and Neuschwanstein, we passed by some wonderful scenery. In the photo, you could see Germany's highest point the Zugspitze (9721 feet, 2964 m.) off in the distance. Also nearby was Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the site of the 1936 Winter Olympics.
