In my opinion Stanley Park is what differentiates Vancouver from any other city. Without it Vancouver would not be the beautiful city that it is. It is a huge area of parkland and forest (1000 acres), apparently the largest urban park in North America and is located in the heart of downtown Vancouver. It is on a headland and is surrounded by sea on most sides with the city below it. There is a seawall around the park where you can get some great photographs or go for a long walk. It would probably take a couple of hours to walk along the entire sea wall.
