At any place in the Dominican Republic: "Dominican Food!!!" Santiago de los Caballeros Restaurant Tip by REYNALDOPICHARDO

The "Mangu", it's the tipical staple of all Dominican tables, consisting of boiled green Bananas, called "Platanos Verdes", which are mashed to a rough pulp, with butter and hot water, served with lightly pan-fried red onions and your choice of local made Salami "Salchichon" or fried White cheese, or both options if wanted, which happens to be the one most people opt for!
It's a tasty plate with a very simple preparation, you can't go wrong with it, even if it's your first time cooking it!
So next time you sit over one of those local restaurants(the ones local Dominicans eat at) ask for this tasty plate and have yourself a taste of the local cuisine!
