The Millenium Bridge is a beautiful new footbridge across the Thames between the St.Paul's Cathedral and Tate Modern Gallery. It is a very modern and striking steel structure that still manages to fit-in very well with its surroundings. Initially opened in 2000, it was quickly discovered that the bridge oscillated excessively. Modifications were made and it was re-opened in 2002.
