It's probably obvious, but this is a real must-see. The Reichstag, or German Parliament, has been totally renovated in recent years, with the addition of a glass dome (designed by the British architect Sir Norman Foster) the crowning glory of the re-do.

The Reichstag became Germany's full-time parliament once again in autumn 1999, when the transfer of the capital from Bonn - the 'temporary' capital for 40 years - was completed.
