"Czartoryski Museum" Czartoryski Museum Tip by Dabs

Czartoryski Museum, Krakow: 14 reviews and 18 photos

We saw signs in Warsaw that said that the Lady with an Ermine would be in Warsaw until September 26, 2010 and it appears that this museum may be closed for renovations so check before heading over

Part of Krakow's National Museum, this museum is home to Da Vinci's Lady with an Ermine and Rembrandt's Landscape with the Good Samaritan as well as a large collection of Greek, Roman, Egyptian and Etruscan art and some European paintings.

Unlike DaVinci's other lady, Mona Lisa, You can walk right up and spend as much time looking at the Lady with Ermine without having guards move you along or being surrounded by a throng of people. A much more enjoyable experience and I happen to like this painting better.
