"Great buildings" Top 5 Page for this destination Trinity College Tip by acemj

Trinity College, Dublin: 137 reviews and 199 photos

Most of the grand buildings on the Trinity campus were constructed in the 18th and 19th century. Many notable students have studied here such as Jonathan Swift, Oliver Goldsmith, William Congreve, Oscar Wilde, Bram Stoker and Samuel Beckett. The school was founded in 1592 by Queen Elizabeth I and was modeled after Cambridge adn Oxford.

You'll probably visit the Old Library, although I honestly felt like it was overrated. The Long Hall, which features over 200,000 old manuscripts is probably the most impressive aspect of the library.
