If you are driving around Australia there are many road rules which you must obey:

* You must drive on the left hand side of the road.
* You cannot drive while talking/SMSing on your mobile phone.
* Everyone must wear a seatbelt, even in the back seat.
* Most cities/towns now have school zones of 40 KPH (kilometres per hour) and residential zones of 50 KPH so be aware of your speed zones - you almost definitely will get booked if you speed.
* You cannot drive with more than a 0.05 reading of alcohol, or none at all for "P" & "L" plates (learners) or under 25 year olds with a licence less than 3 years old.

If you stick to these rules then you should be right. Be careful & drive safe and you'll have a fantastic holiday. :)
