"If you enjoy the outdoors,..." Adirondack Mountains Tip by sskulkar

Adirondack Mountains, New York City: 6 reviews and 2 photos

If you enjoy the outdoors, make the trip up to Lake Placid and go hiking in the Adirondacks. This little town gets fairly busy in the peak seasons, but is a great base for exploring the Adirondack mountains, which peak at around 5200 feet (around 1300 metres).
