Favorite thing: The ‘Queen of Spain’ visits Jersey every year. Along with swallowtails and an abundance of other butterflies that are drawn to the island by a staggering floral tapestry.
The Jersey Battle of Flowers is now over 100 years old ..… and was first staged in 1902 to celebrate the coronation of King Edward VII.
Why does Jersey have moles and Guernsey does not?
Because Guernsey separated from France before Jersey did and before moles had time to inhabit it!!
