MSU building in rays of morning sun
by Pablos_new

Main building of MSU on Vorobjev Hills is one of the most popular sightseeing places in Moscow.

This is one of 7 "vysotka"s building, or so-called Stalin's skyscrapers, built in 1950-s.
It is 240 m high (incl. 50 m spire and 9 m star on top), but has only 34 levels (ceiling height is more than 5 m on some levels). Building is situated at the most high point of Moscow - Vorobjev Hills, that is why nothing except Ostankino TV tower is higher than its spire.

The total volume of all buildings of MSU at Vorobjev Hills is more than 2 600 000 cubic meters (equal to the small town of 50 000 habitants).

Address: Vorobjev Hills
Directions: Nearest metro stations: "University", "Vorobjev Hills" (both at red line).

Review Helpfulness: 3.5 out of 5 stars
