  400-feet tall Waimoku Falls.
by seamandrew

The Pipiwai Trail culminates with the immensly beautiful Waimoku falls. Slicing 400 feet (122 m) down a wall of lava, the falls are where this vast canyon begin. Our guidebook says, "What a way to end the trail," and I can not argue with it. However, I still think that unnamed waterfall was prettier. Waimoku falls was much more awe-inspiring. The tallest waterfall I had seen in my life. Second was Dynjandi in the Western Fjords of Iceland which stands 328 feet high (100 meters).

Directions: End of the Pipiwai Trail.
