  Creek Street, Ketchikan
by annk

A popular port city where water can be seen from virtually anywhere. It's located 685 miles north of Seattle and in the heart of the Tongass National Forest.

Creek Street was very picturesque, lined with restaurants and shops. Looked like an ideal place for kayaking as the waters below were calm.

Average rainfall annually: 148 inches
Known as the sportsfishing capital

Directions: Located on the Inside Passage 220 miles south of Juneau, the Capital.

Review Helpfulness: 3.5 out of 5 stars
