Have you seen how a thoroughbred Milanese guy (and lady) really look like? If there ever is a time when I feel life can be a little unfair is when I visit Italy. ;-) From Venice to now, Milan, the men all look like demi-gods to me. And it is definitely not because my standard is low when rating a guy's looks. I have an Italian colleague (a private banker) named Stefano who is so handsome (like a greek god) and tall (like a Roman gladiator) with sparkling green eyes/ brown hair that whenever he walks by the gals, they would go breathless and literally swoon. Offices should put up a warning sign for men like that. Very distracting. ;-)

The Milanesi girls? Most of them are so sexy and well-dressed, they can give Manuela Arcuri and Monica Bellucci a run for their money. Milan is like Los Angeles to me. Beautiful bustling city with beautiful people (and I mean REALLY beautiful Italian girls and guys) plus their passion for their home team (soccer team, that is) is unsurpassed.

If the LA folks worship their NBA team - the LA Lakers, ditto for the Milanesi folks. Their favorite soccer team (either AC Milan or Inter-Milan) is more important than their girlfriends and wives on match days. :-( The only difference between LA and Milan is that Italian is the language of choice in this throbbing Italian capital.
