Nicola Salvi completed this high-Baroque fountain in 1762. It is one of Rome's most famous monuments. Neptune's chariot is led by Tritons with seahorses, one wild and one docile, which represented the moods of the sea. The word Trevi refers to the three roads (tre vie) which convirged at the fountain. It is said you return to Rome when you flip a coin over your shoulder.

Address: Piazza di Trevi
Directions: Take a bus that goes through the Via del Corso and/ or the Via del Tritone.
