  Remains of Theater Dionysos
by Sharrie

Another theater at the Acropolis on the southern cliff. It's the first stone theater ever built! Originally built of wood, it was rebuilt in stone between 342-326 BC. What remains here today are built by the Romans though & was said to seat 17,000! Remember the gladiators? Yep, this was once used as the gladiatorial arena as well.
