  Ancient Agora from Acropolis
by Sharrie

Ok, as I've mentioned earlier, the Ancient Agora has a building to it. Here, from Acropolis, you could see the ANCIENT AGORA on the right (the one with the longest covered roof-top building)& HEPHAISTEION on the left (A temple also known as Theseion). THESEION was built around 449-440 BC! Look at how well-preserved it is!

Of interest to you might be that SOCRATES was executed in the state prison here at the Ancient Agora in 399 BC!
