"SLEEPER BUSES" China Transportation Tip by swesn

China Transportation: 266 reviews and 211 photos

Sleeper buses of China has to be experienced to be believed.

There are three beds across the width of the buses with passage ways between the beds. There are three rows of beds and the last row consist of five beds.

It is really close encounters of the Chinese kind, with people smoking and spitting in these tight confines and having your head hit by a large Chinese bum.

The blankets are never washed (some still stained with vomit) and there are shoe-boxes provided which means the aroma of exposed feet is extremely strong. I was lucky, I had a blocked nose the day I took a sleeper bus.

Take the upper bunk (less smelly too) so you can retreat and not have everyone stumbling around you as they make their way out for toilet breaks.

Type: Bus
