Sneeking a climb up Arenal is a fatal idea. The volcano is very actuve and car sized chunks of lava fall off the rim about every three minutes. Do not even try and get near the bast of the volcano, it could be easily fatal, be careful and don't just wander around the volcano, you don't want to get too close.
