The Abbey has witnessed numerous coronations in its 900+ year history, (the most recent in 1953 for Queen Elizabeth II).
It is also the burial ground for monarchs of yesteryear. The tomb of Elizabeth I is always a favourite along with the High Altar.
Admission is 6 adults, 4 children or 12 for a family (2 adults, 2 children).
