Getting around Cusco is easy, you can:
Walk.... fine in the centre. Not late at night though.
Taxis are very cheap... fixed fare about 2 soles (3 at night) or $0.60, but try for a licensed cab/ ones with telephone numbers if you can. In cusco 90% of cars are taxis.
Buses.. or 'Combi's are great too. Cost little(0.15c) and run frequently. They can be crowded, but its a good experience. You say 'bajar' (down), when you want to get off.
