  The Papal College - Pauscollege
by petwouters

The Papal College (Pauscollege in Dutch) was founded in 1523 by pope Adrianus the 6th, who was a professor at the University at that time.
In 1776, it was rebuilt in classical style, following the design plans of Ghenne & Louis Montoyer.

From 1825 until 1830, the Philosophical College of Willem the First was located in this building.

Right now it's a place where students can rent a room to stay in during the Academic Year.

Address: Hogeschoolplein 3
