Stonehenge is only a 10-mile bus ride from Salisbury near Amesbury.
These ancient rocks draw thousands of tourist every year. They are viewed in a vast field of green and times are shrouded in mist. The mystery is why they are there, how did the get there and what were they used for. The most famous legend is that they were used by the ancient Druids for cultic activities
Upon entering the area there are story boards that follow the history of the area.
