"Tower Bridge" Tower Bridge Tip by MDH
Tower Bridge, London: 308 reviews and 521 photos
Keeping up with the Victorian neo-gothic architecture of the time, the Tower Bridge was completed in 1894, when locals complained that all of London's bridges were at the Parliament-dominated West End, and none connected the two banks of the Thames at the commercial/residential East End. Named after the nearby Tower of London, the Tower Bridge is one of the most recognizable bridges on the planet.
There's a really cool tour that lets you explore the ins and outs of the bridge, giving you a chance to see how its drawbridge works when ships come in and out, and lets you have some of the most panoramic views of the entire city.
Prices for the tour are usually around £4.50
