"Reedsburg has many local side trips" Reedsburg Off The Beaten Path Tip by blueeyestou
Reedsburg Off The Beaten Path: 1 reviews and 1 photos
Reedsburg is off the beaten path to begin with, but if you would like to enjoy nature this is the place to come.
Reedsburg has the 400 Trail, a walking and biking trail that takes you through some lovely countryside. You can get on the trail right in Reedsburg.
If you like to canoe, you could go on the Baraboo River also right in Reedsburg. It is the longest free flowing river in the nation.
There are lakes nearby for fishing and boating or just laying on a beach. Lake Redstone and Dutch Hollow Lake and Devils Lake are all within a half hour or less from Reedsburg.
The Baraboo Bluffs are beautiful glacier made hills, with Devil's Lake state park right in the middle of them. Devils Lake has hiking trails on the rocks and swimming beaches. Stay on the trails though, because it can be very dangerous going off of the trail.
The Reedsburg Area Chamber of Commerce can help with other area activities. Their number is below.
