If you've had your fill of lakes and fells then try Grizedale Forest. There's something for everybody here. Its renowned for its "theatre in the forest" attraction but there are also miles of waymarked paths and woodland sculptures - watch out for strange creature in the park! There is also a children's playground, shop and tearoom and visitors centre.

Directions: 5 miles from Conistom
