Pashiputinath is the holiest temple for Hindus in Nepal. The temple with gold plated roof enshrines Shiva. The entrance is restricted to Hindus only.

The temple is located at the bank of Bagmati river where cremation ground can be found. The royal family is also cremated here.

Opposite side of the river from the temple is a fertility temple on hill. Here you can find many small stupas. Watch out for monkeys.
