In the following few tips I will show some pics of the St. Pauluskerk and I will explain something about what is shown on them. First though in this tip an intro.
After we visited Antwerp's oldest pub 'Quinten Matsys' half of the VT-group went to see the St. Paulus church. Dannie made an appointment for a tour through the church. It would take 1,5 hrs. Most of us thought that would be soooo long, but al the time we were constantly impressed by the beautiful interior. The tour was given by a man who knew all the details of the church. It was very interesting to listen to all the stories he told us of all the details.

The church has recently been restored after it burnt down in 1968. The whole project costed the city of Antwerp 10 mln Euro's but the results are amazing. It looks like there has never been a fire at all.

At the beginning of the 17th century this church was completed. The church is special in a way because of its baroque and gothic elements.
