The Pianola museum is a small but attractive museum in the Jordaan quarter, well-known as the musical heart of Amsterdam. The museum is housed in a former Police station; some of the old building features are still present.
Some of the best pianola's will be demonstrated with a personal approach. Some of the demonstrations are recorded live concerts by piano greats like Horrowitz, Grieg and other composers.
The museum is open on Sundays from 1 to 5 PM. Groups can visit any day after an appointment. On Saturdays and Sundays regular concerts and demonstrations are organized. Every 3rd Friday of the month there is a Jazz night.
