The Multatuli museum displays the works of the Dutch Multatuli (1820-1887), known from his book Max Havelaar (1860). His real name was Eduard Douwes Dekker and he was a civil worker in the former Dutch East Indies colony.

Sa & Su: 12AM - 5PM

Admission: Free

There's a sculpture of Multatuli at "de Torensluis" across "het Singel". In 1987 it was inaugurated by Queen Beatrix. Sculpture: Hans Bayens; text: Gerrit Noordzij.
