Ruhmeshalle and "Bavaria" statue from the air

This is U-shaped open hall modeled on Graeco-Roman precedents and a memorial to distinguished figures of Bavarian history. It is situated above the Theresienwiese (site of the Oktoberfest). The bronze statue in front of the hall represents the State of Bavaria. A good view of the city skyline with its many towers can be had from the top.
