"River Duratón Gorge" Castilla y León Things to Do Tip by DanielF

Castilla y León Things to Do: 91 reviews and 94 photos

This beautiful canyon near Sepúlveda is a grat place for hiking, kayaking and birdwatching. Many bird species nest in the area, but the most visible winged animals are the vultures, that here are keen on flying not very high over the visitors' heads.

Like many other natural spaces in Castille and Leon, The Natural Park of the Duraton Gorge combines natural beauty with men creations: the small church of Saint Fruits has found here a perfect natural backdrop for its Romanesque features.
