"Flying into Vancouver" Vancouver International Airport Tip by MDH

Vancouver International AIrport (or simply called by its call letters YVR) is Canada's main western airport and gateway. Many flights that are coming in from Asia, Australia, Europe, and the U.S. come through YVR, making it (after Toronto) Canada's busiest airport.

Realizing that this is one of the nation's chief domestic and international entryways, airport designers have done major beautification around the complex. When you enter its luggage and customs area, you'll be surrounded by First Nations statues and waterfalls cascading next to the escalators. Vancouver truly has one of the most welcoming airports on the continent.

There's plenty of taxis and public transportation that can take you into the city center. Also available are many places to rent a car.
