"Stroll around the archbishop's palace" Valencia Things to Do Tip by DanielF

Valencia Things to Do: 524 reviews and 1,178 photos

To the other side of the cathedral, another magnificent but much more tranquil square is there for the tourists to stroll. It is known as the Palace Square, because the Archbishop's palace is located here, linked to the cathedral by a small arch.

Although the origins of the building date back to the XIII century, it has been remodelled several times in the course of history. What we see today is a Historicist facade in red brick, finding its inspiration in the Sevillian Barroque.
