Singapore Off The Beaten Path: 427 reviews and 557 photos

The suburban areas of Singapore are where the heartlands are and here you can take a peek at what the real Singapore life is like. Most major town councils have the local cheap stores, hawker centres, a cinema, and sometimes a bowling alley. They easy to get there and there is usually an MRT train station around the corner or the friendly bus interchange. Life goes on till late here at 10 or 11 pm. Some of the new towns you should try visit are Bedok, Ang Mo Kio and Toa Payoh.
