Le Carthage: "Oriental pastry" Top 5 Page for this destination El Greco Tip by Norali

El Greco, Brussels: 3 reviews and 2 photos

Well, if you visit Belgium, it is not certainly for oriental pastry :-) but I just appreciate this place and want to share good adresses with you.

A place where you could lunch, savour oriental pastry. The fact that it is not far from Grand-Place makes it easily accessible. Though I had not eaten in the restaurant part yet, I bought, several times, Carthage oriental pastry with specialties from many countries (from Maghreb region to Arabic countries). Delicious!!

You can also bring home pieces that are packed in a box, depending on quantity you buy.

Favorite Dish: Just go, have a mint tea and some pieces of oriental pastry (made of honey, nuts, sesame seeds, almonds, orangeflower and mint fragranced..). Quality pastry with correct pricing.

A warning though: it is something you have to savour and not swallow. Oriental pastry is so sweet (honey) that it's better to taste small quantities. A tip: bring home some pieces...
