Ke'anae, a feast for the eyes.
by seamandrew

The Ke'anae peninsula can be found just off of the Hana Highway. It offers a superb photo opportunity with the ocean bashing it's way through a volcanic coast creating a beach of boulders and pebbles. The unreal blue water against the lushness of the Hana Coast is as my guide book put it, "a feast for the eyes."

The land here is younger than the rest of the island and it's very obvious. The small village on this peninsula offers public restrooms, a great banana bread stand, and a ballpark. Aside from all it's amenities, it's truly in keeping with Maui's beauty.

Directions: Just off of the Hana Highway (Route 360) between mile markers 16 and 17.
