"Go Sledging!!!" Zermatt Things to Do Tip by NateWill22

If you are there in the winter, like I was, you MUST go sledging from the Gornergrat!! It's the Swiss version of tobaggoning. Sledging in Switzerland can be summarized like this: flying down a mountain at near-mach speeds with certain-death drop-offs to your right, and a ten foot bank of snow on your left trying to manuever hair-pin turns on a slab of wood with two metal runners without any kind of braking of stearing. It is nothing to be taken lightly! Sledging is an extreme activity and well worth it if you survive! (Wipe-outs are almost unavoidable...) The spot to do it in Zermatt is down the Gornergrat. It was really really great!
