"Giardino di Boboli and Palazzo Pitti" Boboli Gardens - Giardini Di Boboli Tip by martystagram
Boboli Gardens - Giardini Di Boboli, Florence: 60 reviews and 121 photos
The gardens are behind the Palazzo Pitti. Good views of the city and towards the Tuscan hills. Costs about ?4 to enter, although it's cheaper to buy a combination ticket if you intend to visit the Palazzo as well.
Within the Palazzo the Galleria Palatina is very worth while viewing.
Beware of the Galleria d'Arte Moderna, last entry is at 13:10. Art dates from 1784 to 1924, so it' not Renaissance, but it's not very modern either (you won't find anything like Rothco!!). If you get the combination ticket then take advantage and have a look otherwise...
Address: Piazza De'Pitti
Directions: Cross the Ponte Vecchio and walk 5 minutes up the road.
Phone: 055 238 8614 (Galleria)
