"Flower Walk" Brooklyn Botanical Garden Tip by aukjejetty
Brooklyn Botanical Garden, New York City: 5 reviews and 4 photos
If you are a little tired of skyscrapers, busy streets and people who seem to be speed-walking, and you don't want to go to Central Park. Then here is a tip for you; go to Brooklyn Botanical Garden. I went there twice, the first time because I just wanted to see the flowers, the second time because I forgot my camera the first time. It is beautiful here, and it was quiet. I took my book and had a good start of the day.
For budget travelers and anyone else who likes free stuff, on Tuesdays (whole day) and Saturdays between 10-12am it is free entrance. For more info go to their website.
Besides the Brooklyn Botanical Garden there is also one in the Bronx, can't tell you if it is worth it, but check it out (and let me know) I saw eden_tueling having a few tips on the one in the Bronx, you can check it out.
