Football and Fall finds many adherents to America's version of football vying for the public's attention. Two major universities field football teams and have been very successful in recent seasons. One university has a cartoon mascot of a what happens to a Duck when it does drugs. It is known as the University of Swoosh (due to the large influence of their alum, Phil Knight of Nike), the University of Zero. Of course, the other university is the University of Light and Good. Oregon State University in Corvallis. Our mascot is the state animal, the industrious Beaver. Our cry: 'You can't lick our Beavers!!"
