"The first and the last" Bars.... Tip by ccmoira

Bars...., Dublin: 103 reviews and 91 photos

They know how to pull a good pint here - and well they should because it's right next to the Guinness Brewery and the Brewery Hostel (see my accommodation tips).
The bartenders are pretty friendly - one of them is kind of cute :)
This summer I think they will have a beer garden.
It's pretty quiet most of the time but there is always a chance that people from the Hostel will wander in for their first or last pint (my friend says "You only drink two drinks that matter - the first pint and the last pint.").
There is a jukebox with the standard fare, some Irish, some oldies, Beatles, and so on.
Play the Pogues! They're my favorite.

Dress Code: Casual - my German friend, a carpenter, would go there after work in his work clothes, all dusty from sawing, etc.

Address: Thomas Street
Directions: Next to the Brewery Hostel, on your way to the Guinness Storehouse.
Theme: Eating and Drinking
