  Trimurti statue outside WTC, Bangkok
by Dreks

This famous landmark down the street from Siam Square is a large 7 storey shopping complex which houses the WTC, several department stores and shops, the Duty Free Shop, movie houses, restaurants and a skating rink. Due to 9/11 WTC NY disaster, tourists and locals alike are prohibited to take pictures inside the building. This statue located outside the WTC bldg. is a replica of the three-in-one Supreme God statue of Trimurti in the mythological Hindu deistic rank. The statue has a human-like body with four arms, two heads, and five faces symbolising the three Hindu high gods: Brahma, the Creator; Vishnu, the Preserver; and Shiva, the Exterminator. Trimurti is believed to be a symbolic enterpretation of ancient Hindu doctrines that everything on earth has its beginning, its existence and its ending!
